In accordance with the statements issued by the Alliance for Research in Germany and the president of the Max Planck society, the ZOTTO project is currently suspended due to the unlawful invasion of Ukraine. The people of Ukraine deserve our full solidarity at this moment! Technical cooperation with state institutions in Russia will be frozen with immediate effect until further notice.
Research work such as the ZOTTO project is planned for years and is massively affected by the current war situation. We live in a multidimensional world, and only with the help of close international scientific cooperation can the crises facing humanity, such as climate change, be overcome. Therefore, our solidarity also goes out to our long-standing Russian cooperation partners, scientists and scholars.
Technical cooperation with state institutions in Russia will be frozen with immediate effect until further notice, however, so far, the measurments at ZOTTO still continue.
